Wolfman Trailer

A second movie trailer of the Wolfman is now available:

THE WOLFMAN

When the moon is full, the legend comes to life!

Plot:
"Lawrence Talbot, a haunted nobleman, is lured back to his family estate after his brother vanishes. Upon his return and after being reunited with his estranged father, Talbot is bitten and cursed by a werewolf."

Love the music of this new trailer of the Wolfman: I hope that the whole soundtrack of the Wolfman will be as powerful!
:)

As a child of the 60's and 70's I grew up on horror movies (which are quite corny for the most part by today's standards) with Christopher Lee, Lon Chaney, Boris Karloff, Bela Lugosi, Peter Cushing, Vincent Price and others; among all of these, my favorites were vampire and werewolf movies. Of these two, I'd say werewolves were my absolute favorite.
You can well imagine my excitement to see previews for a finely crafted film with such accomplished stars as Anthony Hopkins (a world class actor, and best along with a few others).
I hope it scares the berjeebers out of all of us, and isn't tongue in cheek as The MUMMY films were.
On a side note: do you realize that the myth of the vampire as well as that of the werewolf are universal? There are few myths that cross cultures in any nation, and the few that do, span a regional area, perhaps on a single continent.
Why then are these two mythical creatures found in stories and tales that encompass the entire globe?
Any myth has a seed of truth in them; could the vampire and werewolf have possibly more than merely a 'seed'?
Would it be possible for a human to be physiologically transformed into a beast?
Of course there is the psychological disorder known as lycanthropy, and this is where a person falls under the delusion that they are an animal (typically a wolf, bear, wild-cat, ox -recall in the book of Daniel, King Nebuchadnezzar was driven made, and believed himself to be an ox- or some other creature).
What sort of energy, power, or spiritual force would be required to transform a human into a beast?
As you probably already know, in the old Germanic languages 'were' meant 'man', thus the "werewolf" meant "man-wolf" or as we like, Wolf Man!
I once had a terribly life-like nightmare of a werewolf; so vivid it was, that more than 20 yrs. later I can recall it as though I just woke up from it.
If you'd like to read this hair raising (or should I say "fur"? Fur sure!)story of this nightmare, feel free to email me at:

The song in the trailer is "Beast At Our Door" by Groove Addicts.
But Marylin Manson's song "If I Was Your Vampire" has the same progression.
