Wolfman Bootleg Trailer

The Wolfman, aka the Wolf Man, is an upcoming horror / thriller movie directed by Joe Johnston and starring Benicio del Toro as the mythic beast. it is actually a remake of the 1941 classic of the same name. Wolf Man is slated for release in April 2009.

Here below a bootleg version of the Wolfmam trailer shown at Comic Con which has leaked online:

Wolf Man Trailer removed following a DMCA notice.

But it seems to be still available on other movie sites: -->here

"Set in the late 1880s, the film keeps the plotline of the original, with Lawrence Talbot meeting his father following the death of his brother. The film details events during Lawrence's past that led to his estrangement from his father (which includes Gwen), and the setting is expanded from Blackmore (now identified as the village from the original) to London. The official synopsis states Talbot was traumatized by his mother's death as a child, while Gwen Conliffe is his brother's fiancée. Following his brother's disappearance, Talbot hunts a murderer, which turns out to be a werewolf, and the curse is passed on. (Source: Wikipedia)

The movie can boast two stars in its cast: Benicio del Toro playing the lead role of Lawrence Talbot, a man who is bitten by a werewolf, and Anthony Hopkins as Sir John Talbot, Lawrence's father.

I thought Werewolf movies were outdated, but Director Joe Johnston seems to have successfully revamped the genre: judging from this Wolfman trailer I bet the film is going to be a blockbuster.

The Wolfman
The plot of this Wolfman remake will be close to the original 1941 movie. But with Benicio del Toro and Anthony Hopkins in its cast I am quite sure the remake will better the previous Wolfman film.
